The Spring Bow 42in Landing Net goes against the current trend for small diameter landing net handles, with the design inspired by a 'retro' net from the Eighties.
For performance it's incredibly important that both the arms and pole have inherent stiffness.
A very low diameter pole increases weight because wall thickness has to be increased, and they are not as good to hold in use.
A higher diameter handle increases stiffness, is easier to use and more comfortable to grip, so a thinner wall section can be utilised without having to compromise on strength or weight.

Korda's design has a 6ft handle that tapers down from 23mm to 18mm.
Manufactured from ultra-light, high performing carbon fibre in a stunning satin black finish, it has a beautifully turned 316 stainless steel point in the end.
This has helped to create a net that is so light, that when fully assembled and in use, lays perfectly on the surface of the water without having to use any kind of net float.
The aluminium spreader block is machined out on both front and back faces (the arms are visible inside) further reducing weight and giving it a “chassis like styling”.
A small slot on the front face accepts a 15mm isotope (not included) and it's engraved on the back with the Spring Bow logo.
The final touch is a hard wearing, ceramic, Gun Smoke colour finish.
