12ft Specialist Barbel - 1½lb test curve
This is the lightest rod in the Specialist Barbel range. It's lightweight blank is well balanced and has a semi-through action making it a pleasure to play fish of all sizes, while retaining plenty of backbone to handle larger specimens.

Ideal for everything from freelining and rolling meat to leads and feeders up to 3oz plus. 

Recommended reel lines from 8lb - 12lb. 

12ft Specialist Barbel - 1¾lb test curve 
The 1¾lb Specialist Barbel is the ideal test curve for a variety of waters from small rivers and fishing light leads in low summer conditions to casting feeders up to 4oz+ in stronger flows.

Optimal reel lines are 8lb -12lb.

12ft Specialist Barbel - 2lb test curve 
The 2lb test curve Specialist Barbel delivers the perfect balance of power and versatility. Excellent for anything from small weedy swims to larger waters and hard fighting double figure fish. The high modulus carbon blank can also handle anything from light link legers through to big leads and feeders. 

Recommended reel lines from 10lb - 15lb and leads and feeders up to 5oz with ease.

12ft Specialist Barbel - 2¼lb test curve
The heaviest rod in the range, the 2¼lb Specialist Barbel is designed for targeting bigger fish in larger rivers with strong flow where heavy leads and feeders up to 6oz+ are required.

Optimal reel lines are 10lb - 15lb.
