ZIG has reduced stretch, which helps hooking fish on zigs or on the surface, and has a low diameter for its breaking strain. The low diameter makes it harder for the fish to see it mid-water, or on the surface due to its reduced silhouette, and these camouflage properties are aided by its tinted green colour.
Despite these properties it is still quite a tough line with a very high knot strength as long as you are careful, Palomar and the Knotless Knot being the recommended choices.
Available in 7lb (0.22mm), 9lb (0.25mm) or 11lb (0.28mm) breaking strains. 100m spools.
