The SALT XT Uptide is especially designed to be able to cast heavy weights (up to 10ozs) far away from the boat, but the sensitive tip still gives perfect bite detection.
The special short butt, long tip section configuration results in a perfect bend through the whole blank and retains the strength in the butt section.
The rod is equipped with special saltwater proof K-type guides, thereby ensuring the main line cannot get entangled around the guides, preventing knots or breakages.
