Century 14ft 6" Eliminator X90 Shore Rod

Century anticipate the X90 will be one of their most popular rods ever. It has had tremendous amounts of developmental work done from the shoreline as well as the factory to produce the final version which was agreed by all unanimously to be the best.

This rod sits perfectly between the Eliminator T900 and the T1000. A touch longer than the best selling T900 and a more manageable length than the T1000 which some anglers find a bit too long for them in the cast.

The X90 fills a niche, not just in length but also in power. It will suit those desiring a little more oomph than the T900 and a little less than the T1000 in terms of casting power and leverage on large specimen fish. Century also listened to their core customers who wanted something like a T900 which incorporated a carbon tip instead of a glass one. The X90 does have a fantastic carbon tip that has lightning fast recovery and will also pick up bites at the longest of ranges.

The rod will send a 4-7oz lead a very long way even while being lighter than both the T900 and T1000. It will land just about any fish in British waters without being overbearing. It is very much a fishing rod, designed for those travelling specimen anglers who need one rod in their bag which will do it all. 

The materials used in the Eliminator X series follow on from Century's experience in the current Eliminator rods by using Spread Tow Fabric (STF) combined once again with HPR resin and Autoclave Technology to offer significant anti-twist (AT-T) properties. STF comes straight out of Formula One and all cars use this material extensively in the chassis for performance. The STF surfaces in the butt and lower tip and compliments the Anti-Twist Technology incorporated throughout the rod. 

Fitted with the robust yet super light Titanium K guides as standard keeps excess weight to a minimum.
